CALAS UPDATE – BELEGAER SAVED!

BELEGAER

It is only a little over a week until we reopen … if all goes well, it should be on the morning of Monday, Sept 2 🙂

Good news is that we were able to save some water to boat and sail on by keeping the BELEGAER region. This is good in that while we originally thought we’d be losing 4 of the sims, we have only had to lose the two … Sea of Nurnen & Bay of Balfalas.

We are both busy trying to get all in place again by the time you return. You will see some changes on Gulf of Lune … some pleasant surprises … and bigger changes on Dimrill Dale and Grey Havens. Add to that the Park bursting with Autumn colors and you have an experience well worth waiting for…

I’ve not had time yet to change the seasons on Misty Mountains & Mirromere, but rather than keep our members waiting, I may put up our ‘Men at Work’ signs and work on it in September.

Watch for one more update before we reopen.

CG Bulletin: Secrets…like where the Raven Tree is…

Don’t tell Ty but for those of you challenged in the treasure hunting area, I’m going to start sending out these little bulletins now and then with ways to find some of the lovely things to play with that Truck and Ty make and hide all over for us to stumble over…

This is about The Raven Tree. Ty mentioned it in June Field Notes saying it was easy to miss – duh! He is such a tease. This is a beautiful thing and you don’t want to miss it! Alex Bader (Studio Skye) created it – has wonderful single and couples poses. Use LM to Misty Mountains, follow the path N, continue beyond the two big rocks, turn a bit NW, and go on beyond the split rail fence on the right/east, pass the Redwood on the left, continue a few steps till you see a split rail fence to the left/west, look carefully for the constructed steps just left of that fencing and follow them up to the Raven Tree. When you find it, touch the tree and various other places around to “Sit here” and explore all the poses:) Enjoy! New Cabin on Misty Mountains

With the renovation of Misty Mountains started, we thought we’d share with you a few photos of the new cabin overlooking the beautiful Island of Armenelos. With the fantastic views from the deck, the new cuddle swing on the nearby overlook and our usual attention to detail inside and out, we are sure this is going to be another popular spot for our guests. We’ll leave it to you to find your way. Rather than fly over, why not start at the landing point of this beautiful sim and walk the path north and along the western shoreline to find this new Calas destination. Let us know what you think. We hope to have the work on the sim complete in the next few weeks. Enjoy!
