BEST WAYS TO REDUCE LAG AND INCREASE VIEWER SPEED (FPS) *

1) Turn off Name Tags in Quick Preferences
2) Derender audience members around you, but DO NOT derender Delain and Kurk or you won’t see the particles.
3) Use the sliders to decrease the settings mentioned above: particles, draw distance, and LOD. (But Particles NOT below 4096!)
4) Please remove any unnecessary HUDs and scripts. These all create lag for you and others, so we ask everyone to keep it at this:
Script Amount: 100 scripts max / Script Memory: 3mb max. Try also to keep your complexity low preferably not over 100.000

  • The higher the graphics settings, the slower the viewer speed. It is a delicate balance, and it varies according to your computer’s speed and mostly the video card.

The Knight and the Moonfern. story written by Delain Canucci.

In the heart of an ancient forest lived Elenya, a druid woman whose voice could stir the wind and whose touch coaxed blossoms from stone. She belonged to the Old Ways, sworn to the hidden gods of root and river. He was Sir Aldric, a knight of steel and oath, bound to a lord and kingdom. Their worlds were meant to remain apart yet love does not heed boundaries carved by men.

They met in secret: beneath ruined towers crumbled with age, in clearings where the moon silvered every leaf, in caves alive with whispering fireflies. Each meeting was stolen, a precious ember kept alive against the dark. She brought him herbs and laughter, he brought her stories of battles and songs from distant courts. They could not marry, dared not speak their love aloud, yet they carried it fiercely in their hidden hearts.

But war came, and war takes all. One winter morning he rode away, promising to return when the snows had melted. She waited through the seasons her prayers rising with smoke, her tears falling into the roots of oak and ash. When silence stretched too long, she sought him and found only his grave, marked by stone and shadow.

Her cry pierced the forest. Kneeling in the earth, she wove her last and most dangerous spell: that on each full moon, his spirit would rise from the veil of death. And so he came pale, luminous, his eyes carrying both sorrow and love. For one night each month, they walked together again: through fields of silver grass, among ruins, hand in hand as though the world had not parted them.

But time is relentless. Each meeting left her frailer, her mortal body waning even as her spirit grew stronger. She grew old while he remained unchanging, a ghost bound to her call. At last, on a night when the moon hung heavy and bright, she lay down beside his grave. With her final breath she whispered: I am coming, beloved.

The spell broke. Her spirit slipped free, and the knight’s ghost no longer needed to wait for the moon. In the realm beyond, where no chains nor oaths could divide them, druid and knight walked together once more. Some say their laughter still drifts with the wind on nights of the full moon a reminder that love is stronger than even death.
