As the end of the year approaches, we thought we’d do a little housekeeping, return to an old tradition and republish a summary of the Calas Galadhon Announcement Group rules for new members – there are now almost 6,000 of you! – and it’s a good reminder for all of us.  Basically, it’s the same kind and respectful behavior everyone expects in Calas Galadhon Park. These two rules also protect our group members from hackers, spammers, etc.

Group Notices and Chat

First, the Calas Announcement Group is primarily for announcements about changes & events in the Park. We do not tolerate “SPAM” – it usually means ejection from the group and banishment from the Estate.

That means no SLURLS, web links, etc. except by Staff. Currently that includes: Tymus Tenk and Truck Meredith, Calas Galadhon Park owners, and staff members:

• Kerena Zhangsun
• Jenna Dirval
• Romie Vella

Instead of posting SLURLS, web links, etc., please send one of us anything you think may be of interest to the group – Calas related information only please – and we will be happy to post to the group if appropriate. This allows members to click on links safely.

Second, NO Rude or Offensive Behavior – Mom was right, it’s best not to say anything if you can’t say something nice.

If someone is rude in chat – and staff is not there to take action – ignore and mute the person so they don’t continue to bother you, then notify staff with an explanatory notecard (copy the chat in question) and we’ll look into it.
